I have been a "nerd" all my life and I am heavily into sci-fi as my main reading. I have always been shy around girls, and have been single all my life - but I am definitely straight. I suppose my shyness and growing up scared of sex and scared of girls is why I find domination attractive.

For me being dominated is more a sexual fetish then a lifestyle. In my vanilla life I am fiercely independent and don't like to be told what to do. It seems that being sexually aroused or not makes all the difference. I will do things and submit to things in a sexual context that I never would "normally".
